Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Ltd., a leading figure in Nigeria’s agricultural sector, has celebrated the coronation of the new Alaawe of Awe, Oba Cornelius Abiola Taiwo Oladokun III, further reinforcing its dedication to the community. The coronation, held on 5th July 2024 at St. Joseph Grammar School in Awe, Oyo State, marks a significant moment for both the town and the company, whose national operations are closely tied to the area.
Awe, Oyo State, is not just a strategic location for Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery; it is the very heart of the company’s operations, with approximately 70% of its national activities centred in the town. As the primary employer in the region, Amo Farm plays a crucial role in bolstering local employment and economic growth. The company’s commitment to Awe extends beyond business, with numerous Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including the establishment of a computer school to empower local youth.
In a show of enduring support, Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Ltd. presented gifts to Oba Oladokun before the coronation ceremony. The highlight of the coronation was the presentation of the staff of office to Oba Oladokun by the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, representing Governor Seyi Makinde.
